Beginner's Guide to Online Reward Offers
By LootLadder · Published · Updated
Before starting a reward offer, identify the required action, eligibility, deadline and reward use. Follow its legitimate starting route, keep the instructions and allow for approval. A completion confirmation is not automatically a credited reward.
Start with one offer you can explain in your own words
A reward offer sets out an activity and a benefit for qualifying completion. Before starting, you should be able to describe the required action, who is eligible, any deadline and what the reward actually provides. If one of those pieces is missing, ask for clarification or choose another activity.
Offers may be collected in an offerwall, a catalogue of activities. The catalogue is a starting point; the specific offer's conditions still matter more than a general description of the platform.
Understand the reward before the task
A cash payment, voucher, in-app balance and prize Entry have different uses. Check whether completing the activity produces something directly redeemable or a balance that enables another action. Do not assume a large points figure represents pounds or a prize you will receive.
Also check whether the reward requires further spending to use. This is useful even for a free activity, because the eventual benefit may not match your reason for participating.
Read the eligibility conditions first
An offer may be restricted to certain countries, devices, new customers or first-time app users. “I can open the page” is not the same as “I meet the requirements”. A device that can run an app may still be outside the offer's stated conditions.
Answer eligibility questions honestly and avoid repeating a one-time introduction through another account. If you have used the service before, clarify whether that matters before doing the activity. Do not guess at hidden checks or attempt to work around them.
Turn the instructions into a small checklist
Keep a note of:
- The offer title and the reward described.
- The exact completion action or milestone.
- Any purchase, renewal or ongoing commitment.
- The deadline and what starts it, where specified.
- Eligibility and device requirements.
- How and when the offer says to ask for help.
This can be a short personal note, not a large tracking spreadsheet. Save the original instructions too, because your summary might omit a condition you later need to revisit.
Why starting through the intended route matters
Reward advertising needs to connect a qualifying action with the offer that introduced it. That connection is often called attribution. Opening a different link or switching contexts may complicate it, depending on the offer's design.
Unity's reward-support documentation provides examples of offers that require starting through the offer link and meeting first-time-install conditions. Those are examples of why instructions matter, not universal terms imposed on every platform.
Use the legitimate starting route and the intended browser/device. Do not reset identifiers or repeat installations in an attempt to make yourself a new user. If you want to keep privacy settings that an activity cannot support, it is reasonable to decline that activity.
Completion and approval are separate
A game milestone or a service confirmation records something you did. The reward may still need verification. An event described in industry language as a conversion is not necessarily a cash credit or the final user-visible outcome.
Keep confirmations and note when you completed the requirements. A delay alone does not prove failure, and a screenshot alone does not guarantee approval. Look for the specific offer's timing rather than adopting a universal wait period from another platform.
If an activity stays pending
Start with the records you already have. Check whether all requirements were completed and whether any stated approval period has passed. Do not restart simply to make the status change.
What to Do If an Offer Is Pending explains a calm review process. If a tracking question is relevant, the browser privacy guide helps distinguish technical possibilities from a diagnosis.
A simple worked decision
Imagine an app offer describes a first-time installation and a named milestone within a stated period. Before installing, check whether you have used the app before, whether the device qualifies and whether you want to spend the necessary time. If any answer is unclear, resolve it before beginning. The size of the advertised reward does not remove those questions.
How LootLadder describes the journey
On LootLadder these activities are called Sponsored Offers. A valid approved reward is processed into Crowns and XP. Crowns can be used for Raffle Entries; XP cannot be spent. The normal approved offer reward does not have a separate user claim step.

Frequently asked questions
What should I save before starting?
Keep the offer name, requirements, reward description and deadline, then record relevant completion dates and confirmations. Avoid collecting unrelated private information.
Why should I use the offer’s starting link?
The reward journey needs to connect the activity with the offer that introduced it. Follow the supported route instead of assuming an independent installation or another account will count.
Does conversion mean I have been paid?
Not necessarily. It describes a defined action. Qualification, approval and credit are separate questions.
Should I restart a pending offer?
Not simply to change its status. Check the instructions and ask for help if needed; repeating a one-time activity can create a different problem.
